Throwing a Great Fall Party

Who else is excited that fall is underway? Have you ever rang it in with a cozy, delicious, friend filled party? For the past couple of years that has been a tradition of mine. I actually have never thrown or have been interested in throwing a New Years party, I’m all about fall parties (oh– and my birthdays…) I look forward to throwing one in our next house once we’re semi settled in. Last year’s party was amazing and though I didn’t take much in the way of pictures, here’s a menu of drool worthy food that was present and made everyone cozy content from head to toe.The perfect menu and atmosphere for a cozy fall party. LOVE these ideas!

pulled pork sliders on pretzel buns by Dinner Was Delicious

Pulled pork sliders on pretzel buns were a huge hit. My all time FAVORITE pulled pork recipe can be found and pinned HERE (note: I omit cinnamon and cloves). Get your pretzel buns for a perfect price at Costco. Cook the pork the night before or put it in early morning the day of the party.

4 Ingredient Zucchini Tater Tots by She Likes Food

Next get your appetizers or sides right with some fall flavors. These zucchini tater tots are super. Keep extras warm in the oven for refilling.

Crescent wrapped baked apple brie

Don’t forget the cheese. Put this crescent wrapped baked apple brie on the table and watch it disappear with crackers, apples, and sliced baguette.

Pumpkin Bread Pudding

For dessert, you absolutely cannot go wrong with bread pudding. But why stop there? Why not go all the way with pumpkin bread pudding?

A good fall party is not complete without a good fall drink. There’s always beers and wine, but let your friends bring those. You can make the good stuff. Starting with, my signature favorite, spiked mulled apple cider.

Hot Spiked Apple Cider. Favorite fall drink!

Keep it warmed on the stove with a bottle of spiced rum on the side. Again, Costco is the choice place I get this rum at.

Kirkland Signature Spiced Rum is PERFECT for hot buttered rum!

If you need another drink option. Why not mix up a fall sangria?

Finally, to set the mood for a great fall party you’ll need some table decor inspiration. I love love what Design Love Fest did in this fall tabletop photo shoot.

Design Love Fest Fall Table Decor

It’s still bright with whites, which I love, but integrated with harvest decor of branches, leaves, and fruit. Don’t forget to make good use of your chalkboards for fall decorating! I love this sign.

Here are some more fall decorations I captured last year in my home…
